Looking at a map yesterday, we discovered there is a place called Lands End at the south end of San Francisco. Since we went to the one in England, we had to check this one out too. Although the Visitor Center was closed on Thursday, we still were able to explore some of the area around it.

Lots of trails and we walked some but will have to go back sometime to see the Visitor's Center as well as the USS San Francisco Memorial, West Fort Miley, the Lands End Labyrinth and Sutro Heights gardens.
Then it was time to go to the campsite and that meant crossing the Golden Gate Bridge.
