Spent most of the morning walking downtown Half Moon Bay with its boutique shops, bakeries and coffee shops. So cute.  |

Then we walked to Maverick Beach, the site of the annual big wave surfing competition. Record wave to date is 55 foot wave in 2011 ridden by Shawn Dollar,

We had thought we would stay overnight at a hotel in Pacifica but roads were very narrow and trying to find a parking spot just too awkward so we carried on.
A driver was making motions to us so we pulled off the road and discovered that the door to the sewer hookup was twisted and hanging open. Norm was able to remove the door and we carried on to this hotel. Seemed a very long day for some reason so we're just going to hang out and have dinner delivered.
